Giti, a mother of 6, who lives in Bnei Barak identified the need
in the ultra-orthodox sector for healthy nutrition, combined
with keeping fit, as a way of life.
In recent years awareness of good nutrition, together with physical fitness, has become very widespread in the ultra-
orthodox sector. Giti took sports courses at Wingate College, so it only seemed natural for her to promote the subject in
her hometown.
Giti looked for a fitness club for women in Bnei Barak. As she did not find a solution she decided to provide the
solution herself. She quickly contacted the operator of the Cliques club in Betar Illit, studied the role, and decided to
establish a fitness club for women in the ultra-orthodox community of Bnei Barak.
