ABOUT THE BUSINESS:
At the end of 2013 the entrepreneur decided to open
his own fitness club, which combined personal training
with group activities, thereby turning his love into
a profession. While searching for a suitable venue
and equipment, the entrepreneur applied to the
UJA Federation of New York Loan Fund for Israel, for
assistance with opening the new business.
The Loan Fund committee decided, in an unusual move, to
approve a higher sum than the requested loan amount –
NIS 150,000 instead of NS 120,000. Thanks to the assistance
he received Vaclav was able to acquire the requisite
equipment, and he opened his business in July 2014.
The G-Fit Fitness Club offers its customers the most
advanced apparatus available, as well as the use of a
spacious group activity room. The club currently has 65
subscribers and employs another member of staff.
The entrepreneur would like to thank UJA
Federation of New York Loan Fund for
Israel for its support for the venture, and
notes that the increase in the loan amount,
initiated by the Credit Committee, greatly
facilitated the opening and development of
the business.
