          ENTREPRENEUR’S BACKGROUND:
          Gilo attended ORT Harod School, graduating with a diploma
          in biology. After high school he joined  the IDF and  took on
          combat service with  the Orev unit of  the Paratroopers. He
          trained as a combat medic and driver. After completing his army service he was featured in a Channel 2 TV report on
          clearing landmines, as part of a project to turn such zones into agricultural land in the Arava region. The areas he helped
          clear included his own land.
          Gilo has a B.Sc. in behavioral sciences from the Ruppin Academic Center. He and his wife were accepted as members of
          Moshav Tsofar in August 2013. Immediately after this they began developing their own plot of land. Despite his relative
          youth Gilo is already a very experienced farmer.
