ABOUT THE BUSINESS:
Tako Engineering Ltd. is a precision chip processing plant
which specializes in fine engraving and delicate cutting.
The company also engages in mechanical programming
for customers, and mechanical assembly projects. The
company’s services are designed for a range of industries:
defense, medical apparatus, food, electronics, high-tech
etc., and uses a range of raw materials, from metals to
various plastic materials. The plant started life as a small
workshop in Tiberias.
Over the years, and with the help on continuous
investment, the plant’s machinery and equipment range
grew, as did the activity there. The company has aerospace
AS9100 standard certification, the strictest standard in
the market, in additional to ISO9002 certification.
The plant works round the clock and employs 10 staff,
including the owner and her son David. Tatiana and
David oversee activity and they also program the CNC
machinery.
The entrepreneur would like to thank the
Detroit Loan Fund for Development for its
help and support. Acquiring a new machine
for the plant makes it possible to manufacture
complex parts, more quickly, and increases
the efficiency of the manufacturing process.
Installing the new machinery opened up new
possibilities for the company to expand into
new customer and market areas.
