Yossi began his education at the Ofakim Comprehensive High
School, in the theoretical stream. After completing his studies
he joined the border guards and served with an undercover
unit. Yossi is a graduate of a counter terrorism course. After
completing his three years of compulsory service Yossi
continued to serve as a professional soldier, as first sergeant
of a Gaza Division base. After his release from the IDF Yossi
joined the prison service and is a graduate of NCO and officers' courses and filled a number of command roles, including
serving as a prison operations officer and commander of the regional unit. Yossi applied to the committee after deciding
to make a career change and to open his own business.
