ENTREPRENEURS’ BACKGROUND:
Tal and Ma’ayan are childhood friends who live and breathe gymnastics. Ma’ayan was a gymnast with Hapoel Kiryat
Bialik and attended the Wingate Institute’s high school for athletes. She participated in the European Gymnastics
Championships as a member of the Israeli national team. In 1997 she placed third overall at the Maccabiah Games. After
retiring from professional gymnastics, she took a gymnastics instructors’ course and began to coach.
Her athletic career was interrupted by her army service and a long trip abroad, but she returned to Israel with the
conviction that gymnastics was her way of life. Ma’ayan has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and economics.
Tal was a gymnast with Hapoel Kiryat Bialik and Hapoel Misgav. Immediately after quitting professional gymnastics, she
joined the Dance major at the Dance High School at Misgav. At the same time she completed a gymnastics instructors’
course and coached the Misgav female gymnasts. After completing her army service she coached and managed groups
of female gymnasts, on all levels. Tal has an honors degree in physical education and physical education teaching from
the Wingate Institute.
