Oded was previously a community organizer in Jaffa and Jerusalem
and a social entrepreneur. He has also served as a Jewish Agency
Israel Fellow at the University of California (Davis) and at California
State University (Sacramento).
Go Green – Ecological Innovations in Israel
We will learn about communities in Israel that live more ecologically,
the renaissance of community gardens in Jerusalem, the biggest
compost project in the Middle East and more.
From the Rav-Kav (the Israeli Oyster Card) to the
Autonomous Car
We will explore a subject of great importance to Israelis: the future
of the country’s transport system. In this session, we will “meet”
Israeli activists who are trying to ensure that public transport will be
faster and safer, and hear about Israeli start-ups that are developing
ways to improve the experiences of both drivers and users of other
means of transport.
