Party All the Time
Many Israeli institutions, including banks, health funds, labour
unions and even sports teams, were originally affiliated with political
parties. We will try to understand this phenomenon and how it still
affects Israel today.
Don’t Mess With Israelis
These days, Israeli characters in foreign films and on TV are often
portrayed as rugged Mossad agents, counter-terrorism experts or
hummus-loving army veterans. But that was not always the case.
Together we will go back and see how the portrayal of Israelis on
our screens has changed over the years and why. Which historical
events caused the shifts? And how are the portrayals in foreign
films different from the ways Israelis portray themselves?
