From Kitsch to Netflix

Israeli films are regular Oscar contenders and Israeli TV series
such as “Homeland” and “In Treatment” have become smash hits
around the world, but that wasn’t always the case.
Beyond Bamba: What is “Real” Israeli Food?
We can all name foods that we regularly eat in Israel – falafel,
hummus, shakshuka – but is there really such a thing as Israeli
food? The answer might be surprising, as you’ll learn by exploring
Israeli and Jewish history from a culinary perspective.
The Kitchen Cabinet – a Series of Cooking Workshops
Experience Israel through cooking and baking – learn about
the ethnic groups that make up the Jewish people and hear
the stories behind the different dishes. At the end, enjoy a
delicious Israeli meal. Each workshop is about three hours. A fully
equipped kitchen is required.
