Introduction

Each year, The Jewish Agency for Israel sends Shlichim (Israeli
emissaries) to local Jewish communities around the world: youth
movements, university campuses, synagogues and more. Our Shlichim
are highly-trained informal educators specialising in Israel. They provide
diverse ways to develop personal connections to Israel and foster
commitment to Israel and Judaism.

Among the many other services they provide, Jewish Agency Shlichim are
available to give lectures and workshops on a variety of subjects related
to Israel. You are welcome to invite a Shaliach to give a presentation or
run a session in your community, school, seminar, youth movement or
any other institution or organisation.

Each Shaliach brings his or her unique set of knowledge and experiences
to the UK; this brochure describes the presentations available from our
delegation of the 2018-2019 program year.

A few notes:
• The Shaliach’s lecture or workshop is provided free of charge,
compliments of The Jewish Agency.
• The host organisation is responsible for any travel and hospitality
costs related to the visit.
• Please make your request at least six weeks in advance.
• Due to the number of requests, there may need to be some flexibility
in dates.
