EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES AND SERVICES

Whether you are a school administrator, a teacher, an informal educator, a congregational rabbi, or a parent, The
Jewish Agency, the WZO and KKL-JNF offer treasure troves of educational materials and lesson plans, along with
opportunities for teacher-training and teacher emissaries.

Makom:The Israel Education Lab is The Jewish Agency's central resource for Israel education, providing programming,
content and workshops for Jewish communities around the world: institutional leaders, rabbis, activists, policy-makers,
and informal activists. Makom is changing the conversation around Israel, providing passionate, non-partisan education
materials that embrace Israel’s complex vitality. Makom offers educational expertise and a nuanced framework that
allows professionals and their constituents to address some of Israel’s more challenging aspects through a multitude
of lenses. Makom trains and provides consultation services to educators, communal professionals, shlichim, and arts
programmers, teaching them how to use Makom’s models and materials that tackle Israel’s tough questions head-on and
present alternative entry points that speak to young Jews where they are. (makomisrael.org)

The Overseas Department of KKL-JNF's Education Division works to strengthen the connection between Jewish
youth around the world and the State of Israel. Its mission is to develop young Jewish leadership in the Diaspora that
is deeply committed to Israel – its values, landscapes and people, and to foster a commitment to practical Zionism. It
produces a variety of value-based educational materials and organizes tours, events, activities, and workshops dealing
with topics ranging from eco-Zionism, environmentalism, sustainable development, Zionist history, Jewish identity, the
Jewish holidays, leadership and the bond between the Jewish people and its homeland. It operates a network of some
60 educational emissaries around the world who bring the values KKL-JNF embodies into youth movements, camps,
synagogues, Jewish community centers and Jewish schools.
