The Global Leadership Institute was established by The Jewish Agency in 2013 to build the capacity of young adults
to mobilize themselves and others in the context of tough local and global Jewish challenges. The Global Leadership
Institute offers short-, medium-, and long-term programs in Israel and around the globe.
Project TEN: Global Tikkun Olam brings together young Jewish adults from Israel and throughout the Jewish world to
work together on sustainable-development programs, study Jewish approaches to Tikkun Olam, and share Shabbat and
Jewish holidays. Project TEN has a center at Kibbutz Harduf that focuses on co-existence programming in the Galil.
(There are additionally centers in South Africa, Mexico, Uganda, and Ghana.)
Value-based educational seminars in Israel for youth and young leadership are offered by KKL-JNF. The programs - of
various length and emphasis - deal with such themes as eco-Zionism, environmentalism, sustainability, Zionist history
and the connection between the Jewish people and the Land of Israel.
