ISRAEL UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL: BRINGING YOU TO ISRAEL

           ALIYAH
There is no greater or more personal expression of love for Israel than Aliyah. From the time a Jew begins considering
such a move, through their initial “absorption” into Israeli society, we are with them every step of the way.
The Global Service Center provides pre-Aliyah guidance to members of any community wishing to make Israel their
home. This Aliyah and Israel Experience Hotline operates 15 hours a day, six days a week, in six languages. For the toll-
free number for your country, go to jewishagency.org/global_center
Aliyah Services are provided by Jewish Agency Shlichim in your community. They help future immigrants prepare for
their lives in Israel and provide guidance on issues such as education, housing, health, and employment opportunities.
Habayta connects those who are considering moving to Israel both with one another and with those who have already
made such a move, and provides them opportunities to explore the practical, personal, and ideological considerations of
            such a decision.
Aliyah Flights are provided to each and every oleh: a free one-way ticket to our ancestral homeland, compliments of
            The Jewish Agency.
Na’ale is “the world’s Jewish high school” in Israel – an opportunity for motivated teenagers to receive a world-class
Jewish and Zionist education, leading to an Israeli matriculation diploma. More than two-dozen Israeli schools welcome
students in Na’ale. Students participate on tourist visas, and have the option to change their status to immigrants upon
            their graduation.
Absorption Centers offer a “soft landing” and transitional housing for new immigrant families and adults at the
beginning of their acculturation process in Israel. The Jewish Agency's Absorption Centers, located in cities and towns
all over Israel, include space for lessons in Hebrew, preparation for life and employment in Israel, events, activities, and
            cultural presentations.
