Yael is a qualified Israeli Equestrian Federation examiner,
and is authorized to operate final examinations for riding
instructor training courses.
In addition, between 2007 and 2010, she worked as a senior
trainer on an instructor course run by the Equestrian
Studies School.
For around the last 10 years Yael has been a member
of a select judges team in the field of dressage (artistic
riding), as well as in showjumping, and is considered one
of Israel’s top trainers.
ABOUT THE BUSINESS:
Four years ago Yael established a horse ranch in the
grounds of the family farm. This was the realization of a
long-held dream, to establish her own riding school as a
professional riding center, and to manage it in accordance
with her vision.
Around six months after the farm began operating, in
November 2012, just a few days after the Pillar of Defense military campaign, Yael and her family underwent a difficult
experience. A terrorist, from Gaza, broke into the house in the early hours of the morning when Doron was not at home
(Doron is a career soldier and is often away). The terrorist attacked Yael with a knife in the bedroom. The two youngest
children, Shani and Ben, were with Yael in the bed. With great fortune, coolness of mind and immense motivation Yael
fought for her life and the lives of her children. She managed to fight off the terrorist for some time, until the terrorist
realized he would not be able to kill Yael and he escaped. Yael sustained knife wounds in her shoulder and face. The
children were unharmed (physically…). It took the family a long and difficult period to recover. But, even during this tough
time, Yael did not give up on maintaining her new ranch, and activities continued there unabated, and even expanded.
Yael is, today, certain that the presence of the horses in her life had a powerful and beneficial impact on her on her return
to full functioning. Around a year and a half later, in summer 2014, during the Protective Edge military campaign, the
ranch came to a complete standstill for two months, the most profitable months of the year for the ranch, because of the
