          ENTREPRENEUR’S BACKGROUND:
          Yael Reem Mitzafon is a third generation horse breeder. Her paternal grandfather, Yoel Mitzafon, was a member of
          Hashomer movement, and subsequently bred Arabian horses. Yael’s maternal grandmother, Ruth Hassidov, was one of
          the first female jockeys in the country who engaged in showjumping, and she bred horses in her yard for many years.

          Yael’s childhood best friend was the mare with which she grew up, from when she was a baby, on Moshav Ein Yahav. She
          used go on horse treks from the age of 8, together with her father, across the Arava Desert  and, in those days, everyone
          saw her a true cowgirl!
          At the age of 11 she began to ride at the Jockey Club Farm (then at Kfar Shmaryahu) and, two years later, she began
          taking part in dressage and showjumping competitions. She quickly found her place among the best youth riders in
