ENTREPRENEUR'S BACKGROUND:
After graduating from high school, Shuki joined
the navy and completed his full service on
gunboats. After his release from the IDF he studied
communications practical engineering. During the
course of his studies he worked at the Aroma café
chain and at restaurants and hotels, gaining experience
in the field.
ABOUT THE BUSINESS:
Shuki opened the first FooDruze restaurant in 2007, at the Canaan shopping mall in Yarkah. The restaurant
offers authentic Druze dishes based on a modern and rapid preparation format. The restaurant gained a positive
reputation and a loyal clientele from all over Israel. Over the years the business gained wide media coverage, with
reports on TV Channels 2 and 10 and on web sites, and received good ratings and recommendations. Shuki also
received an Entrepreneur of Excellence certificate from the Keren-Shemesh philanthropic organization for young
entrepreneurs, in 2011.
